I’m so excited to share with you my debut single – Before It Begins – the lead single from my forthcoming EP Grand Illusion. It opens with an expansive ambient soundscape made with my Juno 106, before giving way to earthy downtempo production and an ethereal spoken-word performance by poet Shakira Stellar. The track came about after the two of us met during a showcase at New River Studios in 2019, and is our answer to the question of how to marry spoken word with music. It was super fun to make.
The single will be available on spotify, apple music etc on Friday 30th October, and you can listen to a preview on my instagram.
